Repetition, Repetition, Repetition

For seven days, I'm keeping a food journal of what I eat daily. This is day two.

I have no idea how this happened, but I ate the exact same breakfast, lunch, and dinner as yesterday. And I had four afternoons snacks. That's right. Four. Here is what I ate today.

BREAKFAST: a bowl of plain yogurt with cereal and granola and a baked (in the microwave; I know, I know) sweet potato
MORNING SNACK: green smoothie (recipe below)
LUNCH: veggie grilled cheese sandwich, two almond cookies
SNACK I: a bowl of grapes
SNACK II: a plate of strawberries
SNACK III: a slice of smoked gouda cheese, one sweet potato, and one CLIF kids twisted fruit rope
SNACK IV: a piece of dark chocolate
DINNER: a plate of pork stir fry with broccoli, tomatoes, and onions
DESSERT: a bowl of ice cream and two pieces of dark chocolate

Hi Katie! You left a comment on my blog a couple of weeks ago, asking how I made my recipe index. I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but before another day gets away from me, here you go:

I built it as a completely separate blog on Blogger, but with the same design, so that it looks like just another page of Orangette. (By messing around with the html coding of the template, I was able to remove the things that make it look like a separate blog: the date above the post, the post title, my profile box, etc.) I organized all the recipes into a single post, and each time I publish a new recipe on Orangette, I input it manually into the index and republish the index. It's not the most streamlined approach, but because Blogger doesn't really allow you to build pages off of a single blog, this was the only way I could figure out to make it work.

Does this make any sense at all? I hope so. I'm not a computer person, really - I work completely by trial and error! - so I'm not so good at explaining things. But I hope this helps at least a little.
